Skating

I gracefully glide onto the ice
The gentle scraping of my blades echoes in my ears
A cool breeze rushes against my face,
like the sensation you get when you first dive into a pool
A small smile forms on my lips
My worries and fears drift away,
like bubbles on a cloudy day
I feel free
A bird soaring through a cloudless sky
A deer bounding through the winter...
