It's ver-MONT, not VER-munt.
A note to all the NCAA commentators and analysts, for the record it’s pronounced ver-MONT, not VER-munt. And our mascot is the Catamount, not the ‘Sap Buckets.’ And the initials UVM stand for the Latin words Universitas Viridis Montis, or University of the Green Mountains, not U of VerMont. Now Go Cats Go!

Top Ten Things About the First Four.
Bias: I am a UVM (that’s Vermont for all you non-Vermonters) fan.
Much like the wild-card round in MLB, it does offer more viewing and excitement while not drastically diluting the product.
For two nights, it’s easy to follow the action - only one game at a time. I can do that.
Analysts are also forced to concentrate on the sole game being played, giving those ‘lesser’...
